Islington Town Hall & 6 St Chads Place Wedding
Morgan and Dan are just the cutest. Morgan is from America, but met British Dan over here, and they now live in London. So this is just part one of their wedding celebration – part two happens next year in Connecticut for their American friends and family! Oooh. Two weddings; how awesome! I wouldn’t have minded doing that. 🙂
Part One: London was fantastic. Yes, it rained all day, but it didn’t put a damper on anyone’s enthusiasm, and Morgan and Dan gallivanted happily from location to location under a large polka dot umbrella. My favourite part was doing some of the photos at the pub where they met – The Lexington – where Morgan took a fancy to Dan’s snuggly grey cardigan (which also made an appearance on the day). Then it was off to 6 St Chads Place near King’s Cross for a fab evening reception – what a stunning venue! I adore the train mural on the wall, and the warehouse atmosphere with beams and industrial lighting! Plus it’s beautifully tucked away just a block or two from King’s Cross station, but because it’s down a side alley, you’d never know it was there unless you looked! Which means that your wedding guests can wander around outside with their cocktails or canapes (assuming it’s not raining, of course!) without there being crowds of people.
Thanks to my friend Heline Bekker for 2nd shooting for me on this one.
