Lauren and Ross. I knew they were awesome people from their engagement shoot, but I had no idea HOW awesome their wedding would be! Right in the middle of the privately-owned Eden Nature Reserve, animals everywhere, the ceremony on a huge rock overlooking a valley, the long tables stretched out in Lauren’s Mom’s backyard, each one decorated differently…I was in my element! I think Anabela and I took waaaay too many pictures. What struck me the most was the warm welcome we got from each and every person there, and the overwhelming sense of friendship, community and love that exists not only between Lauren and Ross, but between their friends, families, and everyone who lives on the reserve. It truly was a privilege to be part of this special crowd, and treated like old friends.

Fresh, Fun and Natural Wedding Photography in London and the United Kingdom by Kat Forsyth Wedding Photographer. I love weddings and anything to do with them, and you're just as likely to hear me squeal in delight when you show me your dress, as you are to see me cry when you say your vows. Yes, it happens. To me, weddings are about two things: love and fun. So these are the two things I try to capture in all my photos! My approach to your wedding day is to capture natural moments as they unfold throughout the day, with a little more direction thrown in for some gorgeous and fun portraits and couple photos. I love beautiful scenery, old walls, broken-down buildings, fields, fun props, and couples who bring their unique personalities to the shoot. I love couples who are excited about their photos and want to have some fun in them! And details...oooh, details. They make my heart sing. So if you have different decor on each of your sixteen tables, you'll find me happily snapping away at ALL of them! I've been a wedding photographer since 2009. I fell into it right after I got married, and I adore it. I'm from Johannesburg, and have shot weddings all over South Africa. Now I'm off on my next big adventure, which is taking over the UK! I'll be arriving in early March 2012, and I'm so unbelievably excited about the theatre, shopping and meeting all my awesome UK wedding-industry friends! I'll be based in North London but I'm happy to travel anywhere for a wedding.
