Amrit and John are getting married in October, and they decided to have their engagement session along the quirky, colourful part of the south bank in London. I’m crazy about bright colours, and that area is filled with them, so we had a ball! It was one of the really hot days we’ve been enjoying in London recently, which means we had to do a lot of people-dodging, but I think we got quite good at it by the end. They should make it a new Olympic sport.

Adrienne and Kevin are South Africans who now live in Surrey. They got married in South Africa last year, which I photographed for them, and when they found out I had moved to London, they asked me to do a couple session, so they could have some great photos of themselves around the big London landmarks. I am so behind the idea of having regular photos taken of you and your spouse/partner/other half/loved ones – you don’t need to wait until your wedding day, or stop after your wedding day! Just take them.
