In a fantastic start to the new year, the latest round of Fearless Awards were announced, and I WON ONE. This is my first time winning any sort of competition for my work, so I’m obviously crazy excited! 261 other images were also awarded in this round, and there were so many incredible images in there that I’m honoured (and astounded) to be included. Just clearing my cards and backing up Mel & Craig’s wedding before I race off to Memoire for today’s wedding, and thought I’d post a quick fun one:

Lene and Jaco were married at the end of November at Linwood Guest House in Clarens. It was my first time in Clarens, and boy, it did not disappoint! Melanie Wessels (who was assisting me) and I spent the whole of the next morning wandering around the town and buying cute things…but that’s another post! Meanwhile, here are Jaco and Lene:

The ceremony took place in a clearing in the forest, and all I can say is “wow”.
