Julie and Rich decided to tie the knot after many years together, and they had the most gorgeous wintery wedding as a result! The Laura Ashley Hotel Wedding venue was the perfect place for their warm, intimate family celebration (I’m kind of in love with the wooden ceiling beams and panelled walls there), and even though it poured with rain outside all day, it didn’t matter a bit, and certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s enthusiasm!

Julie was such an excited bride, which is my favourite kind. 🙂 She and Rich were just so happy to be getting married, and it really shows! They were surrounded by a tiny army of flowergirls (in the cutest pink dresses ever), and pageboys – I’ve never had so many little ones in one wedding party, and to their great credit they were all so well-behaved posing for me! So cute.

Rich and Julie had a subtle Alice in Wonderland theme running through their wedding, my favourite part of which was the AMAZING cake, and the table place list, which required a magnifying glass. Awesome. There was also a kids’ playroom with little tents and forts, colouring books, etc, and a gambling room for the older guests – although since no real money was being used, the little ones had great fun too!
